The app and its content
All lore content in the app is free: the videos, the illustrated books, the Codex encyclopedia, the family trees, and the wallpapers. No account or login is needed, and none of your reading data ever leaves your device.
Westeros Within Plus
Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks cosmetic and convenience extras such as app themes, alternate icons, collector widgets, unlimited bookmarks and notes, a candlelight reading mode, a sleep timer, and note export. The lore itself is never behind the paywall.
- Manage or cancel: subscriptions are billed by Apple and managed in your device's App Store account settings (Settings, your Apple Account, Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Restore: use the "Restore Purchases" button on the Plus screen to re-activate a subscription after reinstalling or on a new device with the same Apple Account.
- Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
Common questions
A video will not play. Videos stream from our YouTube channel through an embedded player, so an internet connection is required. If a video fails, check your connection and try again shortly.
My reading progress disappeared. All progress, bookmarks, highlights, and notes are stored only on your device. Deleting the app removes them; they cannot be recovered by us because we never receive them.
How do I save a wallpaper? Open Wallpapers from the More tab, choose an image, and tap save. The app will ask once for add-only access to your photo library and uses it solely to save the image you chose.
